History

    SD Lazuardi Ibnu Sina Global Islamic School was built in 2014. One of the many establishments of schools of the Lazuardi Global Compassionate Foundation found throughout Indonesia that aims to transform the noble character of individuals and strengthen the foundation of their belief in Islam aside from producing academically competent individuals.  It is also one of the many prestige inclusive private schools in Kendari aiming to accommodate every type of learner to their full potential. Furthermore, having " Inclusive, Global Awareness, Future Oriented, Compassionate, Integrity,  and Spiritual " as its core values.

Academic Support system

The school offers its doors from kindergarten up to grade 6. In terms of tools and facilities, they ensure to provide appropriate accommodation for students such as all classrooms with aircon, designated music and dance room, computer lab, court, playground, garden, and mussolah to provide an enriching environment for every situation for the child.  In consideration of the students, the school ensures and provides teachers who are competent and professionals in their craft. To ensure the abilities of the school, there is a monthly evaluation and seminars for the teachers and staff and planning of curriculum every year. Furthermore, the school also ensures the involvement of parents by sending daily reports of events of students through WhatsApp and occurrences of seminars and events about the latest topics regarding parenting and education. In addition, the school also offers additional classes such as remedial and enrichment for specific subjects.

Teaching System

SD Lazuardi offers subjects like mathematics, health education, social studies, thematics, science, and English along with 4 religious subjects to develop the balance between academic competency and  self- foundation of Islam. They utilize their own modified curriculum aligned with the Indonesian education system with various adjustments and influences such as Mardekha, thirteenth, and even Cambridge to ensure the effective learning and engagement of the students to the learning today. Due to the fact that the school believes in transforming the children to think " How" instead of "what". Aside from that, the English language is utilized as a primary means of language alongside Indonesian and Arabic in order to develop their English competency. In accommodating the learning of special needs students in the inclusive school, each of the classes has at least 3 special needs with an assigned therapist that guides and assists the students in the class ensuring their learning and development of their social and collaborative skills.

  And most of all, the school prizes itself in recognizing and instilling beliefs, attitudes, and traditions of their spirituality towards the religion of Islam. Through the different practices of following the praying time routines in every class and the musollah consistently, designated time to learn and read about quoran, and imparting appropriate customs of Islam such as the dress codes and respect for elders; the duty of the school aligns itself in not only adapting and creating competent individuals for their future but acknowledging the homage of traditions towards developing a sense of rapport to their spirituality as a person of Islam.
